Today we read Allegory of the cave. In my opinon it was about Prisoners in a cave that weren't allowed to escape and had to live in this type of closed in society until someone let them out and they had to deal with the light, but since they were so used to the dark or they were so close minded they ran back to where they were until they were forced to face the light and become open minded people.
It sounds like socrates is offering to change the greeks minds about certain things and to open their brains to something new. Both socrates and Glukod agree and are willing to teach new info.
